FEBRUARY 2026 – Like most candidates, Trump didn’t exactly reveal his true agenda when he was on the campaign trail. In his case, he said repeatedly he didn’t know anything about Russ Vought’s “Project 2025” plan to shrink and restructure the US government, and pursue a Christian nationalist agenda in schools and in public policy generally. So it would be constructive at this point to determine how much of Project 2025 has actually been implemented. Vought currently serves as OMB Director, and worked in the Heritage Foundation, where he crafted what’s turned out to be much of Trump’s second-term action plan.
