FEBRUARY 2026 – The Atlanta Journal-Constitution stopped printing its newspaper at the end of last year, but to many Atlanta readers the news site keeps improving. There’s no better example of solid political reporting than a Feb. 3 piece by AJC chief political reporter Greg Bluestein, who went into the west Georgia district of Marjorie Taylor Greene – where there are 21 GOP candidates are vying for the party’s nomination and MTG’s seat. It raises the wholly unlikely prospect that a Democrat could somehow snatch the seat in the deep-red district – yet the in-person reporting at town halls and other events suggest a new degree of uncertainty. Very good and constructive work.
